Freelance Personal Trainer

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Freelance Personal Trainers to join our team. As a Freelance Personal Trainer, you will have the opportunity to work independently, managing your own client base and delivering personalised fitness training sessions. Your expertise in designing customised exercise programs, providing coaching and motivation, and helping clients achieve their fitness goals will be essential in delivering exceptional services.


Responsibilities:

Personalised Training Programs:
Design and develop customised exercise programs tailored to individual client goals, fitness levels, and specific needs.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ current fitness levels, health history, and any limitations or injuries.

Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques, form, and safety precautions.

Continuously monitor and track client progress, making adjustments to training programs as needed.

 

Personalised Coaching and Motivation:
Provide ongoing support, encouragement, and motivation to clients throughout their fitness journey.

Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build a trusting relationship with clients.

Set realistic and achievable goals with clients, and provide feedback and accountability to help them stay on track.

 

Client Consultations and Goal Setting:
Conduct thorough initial consultations to assess clients’ fitness goals, lifestyle, and any specific requirements or limitations.

Collaborate with clients to establish short-term and long-term goals, creating a roadmap for their fitness journey.

Educate clients on the importance of nutrition, hydration, and recovery in achieving their desired outcomes.

 

Health and Safety:
Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions, following industry-standard practices and guidelines.

Maintain a working knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and injury prevention.

Stay updated on current fitness trends, research, and best practices, incorporating them into training programs.

 

Time and Schedule Management:
Manage your own schedule and availability to accommodate client appointments.

Maintain accurate records of client sessions, progress, and payments.

Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Trainer, working with diverse populations and individuals of varying fitness levels.
  • Nationally recognised certification in Personal Training or an equivalent certification from a reputable organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise programs for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Liability insurance coverage is compulsory.
